Live Plant & Cutting Shipping Policy
All live plants and cuttings should be opened and inspected immediately upon delivery.
Because plants are perishable and sensitive to temperature, light, and moisture changes during transit, prompt inspection is extremely important.
Reporting Issues
If there is an issue with your shipment, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with:
- photos of the box,
- shipping label,
- and affected plants/cuttings.
Claims submitted after 24 hours may not qualify for replacement or credit due to the perishable nature of live plant material.
Acclimation & Hardening Off
Our plants and cuttings are grown in a greenhouse environment and may require gradual acclimation (“hardening off”) before being placed outdoors or into direct sun, wind, or fluctuating temperatures.
Improper acclimation after arrival can cause transplant stress or plant decline, and we cannot guarantee plants once they have been transplanted, potted, or placed outdoors.
Shipping Stress
Some minor cosmetic stress during shipping is normal with live plants and cuttings. Most plants recover quickly with proper care, hydration, and acclimation.
Weather & Shipping Delays
We are not responsible for damage caused by:
- extreme temperatures,
- shipping carrier delays,
- packages left outdoors after delivery,
- or incorrect shipping addresses entered at checkout.
Lost, Stolen, or Delivered Packages
Once a package is marked delivered by the shipping carrier, responsibility transfers to the recipient.
If a package is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit, customers should file a claim directly with the shipping carrier (UPS, USPS, or FedEx). We are happy to assist with supporting documentation when possible.
Our Commitment
We care deeply about the quality of the plants we send and want every customer to succeed growing them. If an issue arises, please reach out promptly so we can work toward a fair resolution together.
